On the night of the 14th of April 1912 tragedy struck the RMS Titanic as she hit an iceberg on her maiden voyage and over 1500 people lost their lives. This disaster affected the town of Southampton extremely hard; this walk tells the story of those that were lost and of some who survived with memorial inscriptions on family headstones.
Dedicated to the memory of the late Brian Ticehurst, well respected Southampton Titanic expert, remembered for considerable local research, who generously gave a great deal of help to FoSOC.
All walks are free but donations are very welcome!
