This will be a similar walk to the one held back in February this year but this time we will be concentrating on the identification of conifers and not the other evergreens, the creatures that live on and under them and, hopefully, we will find some of the mosses and fungi associated with these trees. The Cemetery has many conifer varieties, especially of the cypress family, and most were planted many years ago. The cemetery is also home to several cedar trees, which unlike other conifers, can be seen in flower at this time of year. Some of the invertebrates that we hope to come across include shield and seed bugs, spiders, harvestmen, aphids, bark flies, and beetles.
