Last year marked the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s death. Due to popular demand, there is now another opportunity to be guided through the Old Cemetery, exploring all the connections to this highly admired author.
All walks must be booked online via the Friends of Southampton Old Cemetery (FoSOC) website at Book now. When making a booking, please ensure you specify your desired date and the number of people in your group,.
The walk duration is over 90 minutes. It is recommended to wear comfortable footwear due to the length and nature of the walk. If the weather is hot, participants are advised to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
All FoSOC walks are free of charge. However, donations are warmly welcomed to support the ongoing work of the organisation.
