Are you being served?

Sunday 15th May 2:00 pm

Southampton’s Old Cemetery contains many people from the 19th century who were in business at that time and whose names were ‘household words’. Join Geoff (Watts) and find out how Southampton’s residents were served by some of them including bankers, grocers, owners of an iron foundry and a dyer who was at Tudor House – as well as a shop owner whose name survives, and whose modern shoes you may actually be wearing on the walk!

This walk must be booked to avoid disappointment, there is now a limited number of persons allowed on these walks, to book visit this website (Book Now) which will be via an email please state the time and how many are attending. Do please be aware of the weather, sturdy clothes for the cold and wet and at all times suitable footwear and plenty of water for when it’s HOT!

Meet by the Main gate end of Cemetery Rd, postcode; SO15 7AF
