Another Group helping out!

Thursday 21st May another small group helped out in the Old Cemetery, these were from Starling bank again! There were at the same place as the last group from the bank and managed to remove more ivy/bramble from this area. As you can this has now opened up this area. Last photo show what the are looked like, now can plainly see the difference. Many thank for all your help.

Two groups in one day!

Yes! Two small groups of 5-8 in each group helped out in the Old Cemetery on Thursday 15th May. They both did a great job of clearing ivy off of headstones, a very large bramble patch which was just off the Yew tree pathway and more ivy removed. Now you can see more of the cemetery. The groups were MediaKind and Starling bank, the latter actually stayed after lunch break at 12 (noon) for a couple of more hours. A huge THANK YOU to both group, the work was very much appreciated by FoSOC. Hope to see you both again…. soon. Still, lots to do! Photos a couple area before, working and collecting cuttings in large bags for the chipper, with the help of FoSOC members/Taskers. Plus when both MediaKind and Starling bank finished.
