This morning 15th August, just after the 2 minutes silence was observed (11.00 am) Billy Ferguson FoSOC Chairman, laid a poppy wreath at the Cross of Sacrifice in the Old Cemetery on behalf of the ‘Friends of Southampton Old Cemetery ‘(FoSOC) to commemorate the ‘75th anniversary of VJ Day’ and the ending of 6 years of War (WW2).
